Estates Servicing Operatives
Positions in Grosmont & Pickering

Fixed Term contracts. Variable hours per week, £12.00 per hour from 1 April.

You will:

• Keep all areas of the NYMR estate clean & maintained.
• Prepare coaches which involves watering up, re-gassing, charging and toilet tank emptying following the training provided and safe systems of work.
• All public areas regularly checked for cleanliness & stock levels.
• Weekly servicing of holiday lets and in day call outs.
• Ensure that all stock & staffing levels are maintained.
• You will be required to have your own vehicle and travel between stations.
• Weekends and bank holidays are standard working days.
• You will be expected to help if needed in any of the other NYMR commercial outlets as required.

Personal Specification;

Essential

• Experience of manual work or of domestic cleaning
• Be able to take part in a shift rota covering 7 days per week including early mornings and some evenings.
• Ability to carry out manual tasks often outdoors.
• Be friendly, hardworking and trustworthy with an approachable personality
• Self motivated with the ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
• Good standard of attention to detail.
• Personal Track Safety (PTS) and other mandatory training must be passed as soon as post begins.

Desirable

• NVQ2 or CITB L2 Cleaning and Support Services.
• Experience in a fast paced commercial cleaning role
•  Trained in Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• UK Driving licence and own transport and be able to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
