UPDATE: Following on from the successful work that has been undertaken on Bridge 27A at Goathland Station, we are happy to announce that the station is now open for rail and pedestrian access only!

Heras fencing has been placed for a walking/wheelchair route until the painting and finishing-off work is completed. Access to the car park and Booking Office access ramp (car park side), will still be off limits for another week or so for tradespeople to finish-up.

The Booking Office can be accessed from the platform ramp, and it is wheelchair accessible.

Once work has fully finished, some small disruptions may occur as scaffolding is removed before vehicular access to the car park can return, this is aiming to be completed before the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club visit on 5 May. One final update will follow once vehicles can use the car park once again.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this essential work may have caused. Updated 22/04/2024 10:20
