Spring, Summer & Autumn Menus

Experience a delicious three-course lunch, cooked and served onboard our Pullman Dining Train as you traverse our 18-mile heritage line through the stunning North York Moors National Park. Each seasonal menu gives you the choice of three different starters, main courses and desserts, allowing you to choose your favourite and savour the time you have on board with us.

Our dedicated catering team, led by our Pullman Dining Train Manager, will be on hand throughout your journey. We have an onboard bar offering table-service drinks and aperitifs from a great selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. View Drinks List

Most services depart from Grosmont Station (YO22 5QE) at 12:30pm. There are four dates in Autumn which depart from Pickering Station (YO18 7AJ) at 12:30pm. Your round-trip journey takes approximately 2hrs 45mins from the departure time and will return you to starting station.

Make your journey or celebration extra special and book a Private Coupe Drinks Package

A Coupe offers you a private dining experience within your own compartment which can seat up to four people. This exclusive package includes a complimentary bottle of house wine (Red/White/Rosé) & a bottle of still/sparkling water. Please note: House wine cannot be substituted or supplemented.

Please note: Tables for two are now very limited across all services. If there is availability on a service (shown in the drop down table selection box), we suggest making the booking now to avoid disappointment. If there are no tables for two remaining on a service (0 shown in the table selection drop down box), why not invite friends or family to join you on a table of four/coupe. Tables for one are fixed in place and cannot be combined to make a table for two.

Spring Menu - 7 April to 3 July

Available Dates: 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 & 29 May, 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 23, 25, 26 & 30 June, 2 & 3 July 2022.

Choose from Goat's Cheese, Pea and Asparagus Tart, Roast Tomato & Basil Soup or Slow Cooked Honey and Mustard Pork Belly starters, there is something to treat your tastebuds before moving on to the main course of Roasted Leg of Lamb, Chicken Supreme or Spinach and Feta Parcel, served with two types of potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

On your return journey from Pickering, you will be delighted with a tantalising dessert of Lemon and Lime Cheesecake, Rhubarb and Ginger Crumble Tart or the ever-popular Cheese Board. Finally, your journey would not be complete without freshly brewed coffee and handmade chocolates.

Summer Menu - 7 July to 28 August

Available Dates: 7, 9, 10, 14, 16, 17, 21, 23, 24 & 28 July, 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27 & 28 August 2022.

Fresh and light starters are on offer for the Summer Menu - a Caprese Salad, Three Cheese Tart or Tomatoes, Parma Ham and Cannellini Beans ahead of firm favourite Roast Topside of Beef, classic French Ratatouille or Chicken Supreme for your main course, all served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

As you head back along the line from Pickering, you have a choice of Eton Mess Cheesecake, zesty Lemon Tart or Cheese Board before enjoying a freshly brewed coffee and handmade chocolates from Park House Barns.

GROSMONT Dates: 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 22, 23 (Dep. 7:15pm), 24 (Dep. 7:15pm), 25, 29 & 30 September, 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 20, 21, 23, 27, 28, 29 & 30 October 2022.

PICKERING Dates: 15, 16, 17 & 18 September 2022.

A warming Roast Squash and Sage Soup, Black Pudding, Apple and Wensleydale Stack or Poached Trout Salad are the starter options from our Autumn Moorlander Menu, with Roast Loin of Pork, complete with crispy crackling and apple sauce, Roast Topside of Beef or a luxurious Mushroom Risotto for main course.

Before you enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and handmade chocolates on the return journey from Pickering, you have the option of Warm Gooey Triple Chocolate Brownie, Plum, Bramble and Honey Tart or a Cheese Board with a Yorkshire chutney to indulge in.

Children (Aged 5-14 years old) receive unlimited soft drink refills during the journey. We regret that we cannot safely accommodate children under 5 years old on Pullman Dining services.

If you are using a Gift Card to pay for your booking online, you will need to have the PIN, this was printed on the receipt when purchased.
