The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is calling all people, young and old, to dig out their finest drainpipe jeans and capri pants and steam in to its annual 60s Fest on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July.

At this popular event families will get the chance to head back in time to the swinging sixties with events up and down the popular railway. Enjoy the hits of the great female singers at Grosmont Station. Visit Goathland, once known as Aidensfield of Heartbeat fame, with classic cars and live music. Be transported to Memphis, as Levisham becomes ELVISham with the King’s greatest hits, Elvis exhibition and classic cars.  

What’s more, Pickering will also have live music, displays and an evening show dubbed 'The Big Night Out', which will be hosted by the fantastic Minster FM. 60s Fest will also see the return of the Pop-Up Pirate Radio Show, which will focus on the early days of BBC Radio One and local stations; pop-up Pub and Gin Bar!

Beth Mann - Cilla Black Tribute New music acts at Pickering Station include The Sonics, Rock ‘n’ Roll band, Fiona Harrison performing the female sounds of sixties and ‘The Stones’ who pay an accurate, energetic and charismatic tribute. Along the line Jo Farrow will be performing at Goathland Station throughout the weekend with hits from the iconic Cilla Black and Little Miss Sixties will be performing at Grosmont Station.
