We need your help!

Goathland Station was used as Hogsmeade Station in the first Harry Potter movie and is part of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The station is nestled within the scenic landscapes of the North York Moors National Park in a super-sparse rural village called Goathland. The problem is, right now, people can’t access the station by road.

 

 

To access our famous magical station, you have to cross Bridge 27A (shown above), built in 1935. Unfortunately, the bridge is starting to show its age, and despite our best efforts, time and weather have impacted the steel girders that give strength to the structure and it is now unsafe for vehicles to cross. We desperately need YOUR help...

Donating just £10 gets us closer to our goal to rebuild the bridge, meaning...

• There is safe access for our wonderful visitors and brilliant station volunteers.
• Our popular educational school visits can continue. We had over 1000 school children visit us last year to learn about the importance of the railway.
• Vehicular access for visitor parking, deliveries and emergency services can reopen.
