A 12 ton Palvan - built in 1961 by BR Wolverton. The example at NYMR was restored back to operational condition in 2022, to give the Demonstration Set an example of the move by BR to carry palletised goods. The large doors on these vans enabled access for fork lift trucks to load the cargo.
