Exclusive use of the North Yorkshire Pullman
We’re now taking bookings for the 2027 season for exclusive use of the North Yorkshire Pullman. Gather up to 100 of your favourite people for a three course lunch on board as you travel through the North York Moors National Park, with the whole train to yourselves.
It’s the perfect way to mark a milestone birthday, anniversary, wedding celebration, or family reunion, or to say thank you to your team, clients, or volunteers.
A celebration like no other
The North Yorkshire Pullman recalls the golden age of rail travel, with four unique carriages, beautifully laid out tables, crisp linen, and big windows framing the view. Your guests board at Grosmont and settle in as the train climbs through the wooded Esk Valley, across open heather moorland, and through the deep gorge of Newtondale on the way to Pickering and back. Along the way, our team serves a three course lunch chosen by you from our seasonal menu, finished with coffee and chocolates, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the day.

A return journey between Grosmont and Pickering, departing Grosmont at 12.35pm.

Your Menu
You’ll choose a set three course menu for your party from our seasonal options. The choices available depend on your date of travel.

Seating
Your guests will be seated across the four carriages on a mix of tables for one, two, three, and four, plus our private coupes.
Once seated, guests can’t move between carriages, as the kitchen sits in the middle of the train.

Booking & Payment
£8,500 for exclusive use of the North Yorkshire Pullman, including a three-course lunch for up to 100 people on a 36 mile return journey.
At booking: £1,000 deposit
26 weeks before travel: £3,250
12 weeks before travel: £4,250 final balance, plus any drinks packages
Your menu choices are due 12 weeks before travel, and your seating plan with any dietary requirements 4 weeks before.
Please note all payments are non-refundable once made.

Exclusive use refers to the four North Yorkshire Pullman dining carriages. Additional carriages may form part of the train for use by other NYMR passengers or stakeholders.
