Enjoy our festive Christmas menu with friends and family while taking in the wonderful views of the North York Moors National Park this winter.
Your return service departs from Pickering Station (YO18 7AJ), travelling along our heritage line to Goathland Station, and returning to Pickering Station. The total experience time is approximately 2h 45m, departing at 12:45 pm.
Please note: Our North Yorkshire Pullman services are limited and often book up quickly, so please reserve your table early. Bookings close one week before each service to help us plan your experience.
Our Christmas Menu
As you embark on your journey, you’ll start with a choice of Chef's Homemade Winter Vegetable Soup, Smoked Salmon Carpaccio or Ham Hock Terrine, served with a selection of artisan breads.
For your main course, our Head Chef will prepare Traditional Roast Turkey, Honey Roasted Gammon or Vegetable Wellington all accompanied by seasonal vegetables and potatoes.
On the return journey from Goathland, you can indulge in Traditional Christmas Pudding, Chocolate Orange Cheesecake, or a Selection of Cheeses & Biscuits, finishing with freshly brewed tea or coffee and handmade chocolates.
Optional Extras: x5 Pigs in Blankets (£7.00) and Additional Cheese & Biscuits (£12.95).

Enjoy your delicious three-course meal served aboard one of our North Yorkshire Pullman or Standard carriages, beautifully decorated for the festive season. Choose your preferred carriage during the booking process for a truly memorable experience.
Please note: Due to the historic nature of these carriages, we regret that they are not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, there is also no storage available for wheelchairs at the station. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Car 79
Built by Metro in 1928 and arriving at the NYMR in 1973. Car 79 is the oldest and most popular Pullman car in the fleet, it features beautiful original marquetry throughout and has been fully outfitted for the late 2026 season.

This carriage ran on East Coast Pullman routes before joining NYMR in 1980. It was used until 1987, then restored with a new kitchen in 1992. In late 2025, all the seating was re-upholstered and a new carpet was fitted.

One of the LNERCA Teak carriages, No. 23956. Built by Metro-Cammell, Birmingham in 1936. Each table is for two people only and will be festively decorated for your journey.
Private Coupe + Drinks Package
We have one Coupe available per service on the Christmas North Yorkshire Pullmans. This is in carriage Robin. A coupe offers you a private dining experience within your own compartment which can seat up to four people. This exclusive package includes a bottle of house wine (Red/White/Rosé) & a bottle of still/sparkling water. Please note: House wine cannot be substituted or supplemented.

Children (Aged 5-14 years old) receive unlimited soft drink refills during the journey. We regret that we cannot safely accommodate children under 5 years old on Pullman Dining services.
Allergens, Intolerances and Dietary Requirement Information
If you or any member of your party has a food allergy or intolerance, you must inform our Customer Services Team via [email protected] with your Booking Reference number at the time of booking. All our food preparation is done on board the Pullman service and we do not have an allergen-free zone for food preparation and service. Because of this, we cannot guarantee there will be no cross-contamination. The following information is correct at time of publishing, allergens subject to change. The full allergens list can be found at the end of the menu.
We can try to cater for vegetarians, dairy-free and those with diabetic and gluten-free needs based on an adaption of the menu being served at the time. Any such requirements must be made known at the time of booking and confirmed by us as manageable. Dishes cannot be substituted between menus.
