Our Heritage Stations

Stretching 24 miles through the heart of the North York Moors National Park, the heritage line connects the market town of Pickering with the Yorkshire coast at Whitby. Along the way, trains call at Levisham, Newtondale Halt by request, Goathland and Grosmont, each with its own character, stories and scenery to discover.

Whether you’re stepping aboard for a countryside escape, a seaside adventure or a journey back through railway history, every station offers something different to explore. From peaceful moorland stops and woodland walks to bustling platforms and coastal charm, the route captures the changing landscapes and heritage of North Yorkshire at every turn.
