About the experience

• 36-mile footplate ride on a heritage steam locomotive (18 miles in each direction between Pickering and Grosmont Stations).
• A Souvenir Certificate signed by your driver.
• Your journey has helped support the Charity. 

The experience operates on various dates. All experiences start from and return to Pickering Station (YO18 7AJ), departing at 10:55 am and completing your experience at 1:50 pm.

• All courses are available for physically fit participants aged 16 years plus.
• Please arrive 45 minutes before your experience starts, your service will depart from Pickering Station. Please visit Customer Services on Platform 1 when you arrive.
• These Footplate Experiences utilise a standard running service. Any additional guests must purchase a ticket to travel via our Customer Services Team on [email protected]
