This is a voluntary position. The successful candidate will manage, oversee and assist with all aspects of the tearoom, kiosk and event catering services on NYMR along with procurement of food and beverage supplies to other related services of the department.

The person appointed should have previous supervisory/management experience and a good knowledge and background in food and beverage preparation and service. They must be organised, motivated, sales driven and a team player.

Applicants should hold qualifications in food and beverage preparation and service, as well as a current hygiene certificate. A personal license and IOSH certificate is desirable but not essential.

The post can be based from either Pickering or Grosmont Station. However, you will be required to visit other outlets along the line for which a company car can be made available to you from Pickering only. Service train travel is available from both ends of the line as a way of commuting to outlets at stations.

Hours required for managing this post will be 36.5 hours per week.
