Volunteer Development Support Team Member

Within this team, you will support the Head of Volunteer Development and the wider team directly developing and delivering the processes and procedures that will support all of our volunteers, from new starters to existing volunteers.

You will be liaising across all areas of the railway ensuring we become a valuable resource to the wider NYMR as well as individual volunteers.

You will be involved extensively with maintaining accurate and up to date information within volunteer data systems and through this work, you will gain an unparalleled and fascinating insight across the railway.

The hours of work will be flexible and will be working from home initially. When circumstances allow there will be opportunities to work in person (or from home) and become involved in meetings, presentations and activities in and around the railway. You may, if you wish, still continue your current volunteering role.

You will be given accredited training, equipment and development to enable you to succeed in this role.

*There will be a one to one video discussion/interview and basic skills-based assessment. You will also be required to complete and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
