These services will depart from Grosmont and traverse the North York Moors to Pickering and back.


  • Norwegian prawns and crayfish tails served with a seasonal salad and Bloody Mary mayonnaise (mayonnaise, Vodka, tomato puree and Worcester sauce)
  • Creamy garlic mushrooms served on toasted granary bread, topped with crispy bacon and chopped parsley
  • Chicken liver pate served on a bed of leaves with an orange and cucumber salad, brioche bread and fruit chutney
  • Melon, pineapple, blueberry and strawberry cocktail, topped with chilled Prosecco and an orange and mint twist

Soup Course

  • Homemade tomato and basil soup, topped with a swirl of double cream and parsley, accompanied with white and wholemeal bread rolls and butter

Main Course

  • Roast sirloin of beef, served with a classic Newtondale sauce made with a demi-glace reduction, brandy, mushrooms, red and green peppers, onions and marjoram
  • Steamed salmon fillet, served with a lemon hollandaise sauce, topped with a large king prawn and fresh watercress
  • Pan fried chicken breast served with a sweet and sour mango sauce, topped with roasted vine tomatoes and cashew nut
  • Mediterranean vegetable wellington served with a creamy red pepper, vermouth and garlic sauce

Main courses are served with a selection of seasonal vegetables and potatoes


  • Warm apple pie made with short crust pastry, accompanied with whipped cream and a slice of Wensleydale cheese on the side
  • Chocolate heaven stack – layers of chocolate sponge filled with dark chocolate cream, finished with chocolate strands, creamy chocolate truffle and a strawberry kiss
  • Homemade toffee and banana pie, served on a crisp biscuit base, topped with whipped cream and a hint of Jamaican rum
  • Traditional English cheese board, accompanied with a selection of biscuits, celery and grapes

Fresh brewed coffee with pouring cream or Yorkshire tea served with luxury truffles, chocolate and orange mints
