This British Railways Standard 4MT locomotive is a sister to 76079, our own "Pocket Rocket".

76084 spent almost all of her 10-year BR career close to her Horwich birthplace, mostly at Lancaster Green Ayre and Lower Darwen depots.

76084 spent over 14 years in Wales after retirement, at Woodham's famous scrapyard at Barry Island, before being bought in 1983 by Phil Rollin and placed in his back garden. Sadly, Rollin died in the early 1990s and was never able to see his loco return to the line.

The newly-formed 76084 Locomotive Company bought her in 1997 and after a long restoration she finally ran again in 2013, and after further work made her return to the "big railway" in August of this year. She is based at the North Norfolk Railway.

She is visiting for our Autumn Welsh Steam Gala.
