Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. This year you can visit the NYMR Trust’s Archive on 10 and 12 September (More Info) to see artefacts from the collection which are not usually on display.

As well as examples of drawings, historic deeds and artefacts large and small, we will also have samples from the photographic collection available to view, information about the history of the NYMR and the Archive itself. Members of the team will be present to answer your questions.

The artefacts range from large to small - you will be able to see a platform ticket machine (presently on loan from the NRM); how Edmondson tickets are used at the NYMR and information about developments and successful lottery bids.

Pop in and see us in the Learning Centre on Platform 2, from 09:30 to 12:30 on 10 and 12 September.

Amongst the items on display...
