Family Friendly Days Out This Autumn

Make the most of October Half Term with a memorable day out, without the higher prices often associated with school holidays. On running days from 24 October to 1 November, our School Holiday Savings Rate will be in place, giving families the chance to enjoy a journey on one of the UK's most iconic heritage railways at a discounted rate.

Kids go free on standard services, with one free child ticket per fare-paying adult, so you can enjoy the journey through the North York Moors while keeping the cost of your day out down. With stops at Pickering, Levisham, Newtondale, Goathland, Grosmont and Whitby, there's plenty to build a full day around. Choose from an all day hop-on hop-off Day Rover, or select a Shorter Journey between one or two neighbouring stations.
