Do you have a clever clogs in your family? Is your child a chatter box, likes being in front of a camera and enjoys railways? This May half term, 27th May to 4th June, we are giving our younger passengers the chance to become a North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) child Vlogger who will be given the opportunity to review our upcoming 2017 events for free!

All children visiting the railway over the holiday, aged 4 to 15 years old, will be given the chance to enter for this one-off exclusive opportunity. To enter all you will need to do is send in a 3-5-minute Vlog of their NYMR day out this May Half Term. Vlog entries can be sent via YouTube (email the link to [email protected]) or Facebook (Tag @North Yorkshire Moors Railway in your video post).

The winning entrant will then be invited to attend and Vlog at our upcoming events - 60s Fest (22 or 23 July), Annual Steam Gala (29,30 September & 1 October), Railway in Wartime (13, 14 & 15 October), Halloween Train (26, 27, 28, 29 October) and Santa Specials (2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 19 & 20 December).

Laura Strangeway, Head of Marketing at North Yorkshire Moors Railway, said: “This is a great opportunity for a budding star to get involved with one of Yorkshire’s most popular attractions. The railway is a charitable trust with one of its core objectives to provide education for all ages, so having an enthusiastic child vlogger will hopefully help educate what the railway is all about”.

The winner will receive a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) for each event. Tickets will be subject to each Vlog submission and are non-transferable.
