Due to the Tour de Yorkshire running through Grosmont village on Saturday 4th May, there will be a rolling road closure in place stopping road traffic from getting to Grosmont village and the station.

Pullman Dining Passengers

All passengers for the Moorlander Lunch service on 4th May should aim to arrive at the station before 11:15. A complimentary drink will be offered to diners at Grosmont Station Tea Room before the service can be boarded. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

NYMR Services

Some of our services may be held for a short time at Goathland or Grosmont stations until Grosmont crossing is clear of cyclists and race viewers. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope that disruption to the timetable will be minimal.

Tour de Yorkshire

If you would like to see the athletes climb the Côte de Grosmont, the women’s race is scheduled to pass at 11:44, with the men’s race following later at 16:46.
