Carriage Stable Walking Tour

FULLY BOOKED - 6, 10, 12 & 13 September

Take a short tour of our new carriage care facility at Trout Farm Carriage Stable in Pickering with one of our volunteers. See how this new £4 million facility enables us to care for our heritage carriages. From carrying out routine maintenance, to servicing and inspections.

Certain heritage rail vehicles will also be on display.

• Suitability: Families (Children 10+ Years Old) & Adults. Unfortunately, wheelchair users cannot be accommodated.
• Tour Times: 11:00 & 13:30 (45-60 minutes each tour)
• Meeting Place: Trout Farm Carriage Stable Car Park, Newbridge Road, Pickering, YO18 8JJ
• Access from Pickering: You can either park for free at the Carriage Care Facility or you can walk to the site, which is a 15 minute walk. At the entry of our visitor car park, take a left and walk along Undercliffe and Newbridge Road, Pickering
• Booking: You must pre-book your FREE Ticket

Information:

• The Carriage Stable is a potentially hazardous working environment. Consequently, Participants must be reasonably fit, agile and over 10 years old.
• Unfortunately, due to the working environment of the Carriage Stable wheelchair users cannot be accommodated.
• No pets are allowed on the tour including guide dogs/assistance dogs due to safety reasons.
• Participants will need to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
