Our 40th Anniversary Festival & Spring Steam Gala will feature demonstration goods trains, Grosmont to Goathland Local Trains and lots more!

Please note we will not be running to Battersby Sunday 12 May, only on Saturday 11 May please see timetable for times.

Please note: Locomotive availability can change daily, so timetables will be exchanged on the day if there is an issue

Model Railway Exhibition
11-12 May
A model railway exhibition will be on display in the Learning Centre on Platform 2 on the 11-12th May featuring Haymarket Cross (as seen in Hornby & BRM magazines) Rumbling Bridge, Heron Lane & Glengary. Kind thanks to the Scarborough & District Railway Modellers for putting on this event. Visit the railway during this 10 day event and take part in a celebration of locomotives that have contributed to the history of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Take a short trip on the Great Western Saloon hauled by Joem.

The Shuttle will depart from Pickering and travel to Levisham return on Friday 3^rd May, Monday 6^th May, Thursday 9^th May, Friday 10^th May and Saturday 11^th May. Times vary each day.

A £10 supplement is payable per round trip, in addition to a day rover ticket.

Passengers will have to get off the carriage at Levisham for 40 minutes before the return journey.

Fresh percolated coffee or tea, plus biscuits is included in the price.

On Sat 11^th May, the carriage will go down the sidings on arrival at Levisham from 10.57 until 12.42 and between 14.05 and 14.50

Take a short trip on the Great Northern Saloon hauled by Lambton Tank No. 29

Departing from Grosmont to Goathland at 15:20 and returning from Goathland to Grosmont at 16:25 on Sunday 12^th May – (Please note the 10:25 & 13:15 service on this date are sold out!)
