A must-see is the celebrity station, Goathland which became Hogsmeade Station in the first Harry Potter film and featured as Aidensfiled in the ITV programme in Heartbeat.

Goathland Tea Room is a converted 1922 style goods shed where you can enjoy light meals and tasty treats! 

The 'Rail Trail' from Goathland to Grosmont combines a signposted three-and-a-half mile walk down the old railway line with a ride back up on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. There's a guidebook available in local shops.
